Christmas

This post is long overdue but better late than never. We spent Christmas in Ohio with my parents and Martin and his family.  Jacob was thrilled to finally meet his newest cousin.  He was no longer the baby.  (Nicholas and Natalie just had a little one so now he's really moving up).  He had been so disappointed at Thanksgiving.  He really enjoyed holding his little cousin.
The girls all took a turn holding Keltin also

Bella could really get Keltin to smile.  He was sick and miserable with a rash caused by his medicines but when she played peek-a-boo with him his smile would light up the room.  I can't find any pictures of their game though

Christmas Eve wouldn't be complete without home-made pierogies.  Although I admit to using store bought ones when its just my family.  The older girls helped Uncle Bunny make them this year.

The nativity was acted out and in Terry Buchkovich tradition started all the way with Samuel the Lamanite.  I also admit to using an abridged version when we stay at home.  Notice the big stick Jacob is holding as a shepard's staff.  There may or may not have been an incident with him and the stick thay almost brought the tree crashing to the ground.  My lips are sealed but thank goodness for quick reflexes on the part of some family members!

The main gift from Santa for all the kids.  Okay and a little bit for mom's sanity.  Santa's plan was for the trampoline to give the kids something to do outside so mom didn't go crazy with them in the tiny house we're renting until we sell our old house and no for sure that we are staying in Valpo for a few years.  Santa didn't know that the wind had other plans and blew it away mangling it in the process a mere two months later.

Grandma B opening the picture of her and Grandpa on a ship he served on with a touching poem.  Okay, I may have cried a little when she read it.

What could cause a grin so big???  This wasn't a Christmas present but a belated B-day present that was the result of efforts my multiple family members.   The picture of her first cell phone that was being shipped to our house.

Excuse the scary version of me.  They were leaving bright and early and I got up to say goodbye.  Mornings are not my best time of day.
I got the girls and their dolls matchinf outfits for Christmas
Lindsay and the kids came to visit one day.  Tyler and Jacob had fun playing on the Wii.  The Westons moved to Alaska in January so I was glad Jacob and Tyler got to play one last time.
Another scary picture of me with a cute baby.  This time I had just gotten out of the shower when my cousin and her husband arrived with this cute bundle, Evelyn!
